Deerns Group has announced that Tjerk van der Meer (44) has joined the Executive Board of Deerns Group effective 1 June 2019. Executive director Sjoerd Hora Siccama will step down as member of the Executive Board effective 1 September. As a new member of the Executive Board, Van der Meer will be working closely with the Board's Chairman, Jan Karel Mak and Chief Financial Officer Roel Rooskens.

Before joining Deerns, Van der Meer was globally responsible for commerce and strategy in the Manufacturing & Technology sectors at Arcadis. Prior to that he occupied various international management positions at, among others, design and engineering firm Royal HaskoningDHV.
